Everything you need to know about Imago.
What is Imago and how do Jarvis and Avatar work?
Imago is a multiplatform application combining intelligent assistance, knowledge graph memory, and persona synthesis. It features two interconnected modes: Jarvis (an autonomous assistant with PC tools that actively listens, helps you daily, and curiously learns about your life, opinions, and voice) and Avatar (the synthesized digital persona that inherits that neural knowledge graph and speaks with your cloned voice to reproduce your thinking and presence).
How does the Avatar answer questions I have never answered before?
Because Imago structures your beliefs, moral priorities, and life experiences into an interconnected Neo4j graph database, your Avatar doesn't just replay recorded phrases. It uses graph-guided neural reasoning to analyze new dilemmas through your established value system, answering novel questions in your voice and perspective.
What is the 'Jor-El Principle'?
Inspired by Jor-El leaving his crystalline consciousness to guide Superman across generations, the Jor-El Principle represents the ability for a parent, grandparent, or mentor to leave a faithful, interactive digital representation of their mind and voice for their descendants—so their family can always seek their counsel and hear their voice.
What platforms are supported?
Imago is built with Kotlin Multiplatform and is available natively for Android and iOS on mobile, as well as standalone desktop executables for Linux (.deb / .AppImage) and Windows (.exe).
How does Jarvis control my computer?
In Jarvis mode on Linux and Windows, the assistant connects to local system tools and script runners. It maintains its own isolated sector in the Neo4j database to record tool sequences, system commands, and user preferences without mixing them into your personal memory graph.
Is my personal data and voice clone secure?
Yes. Privacy and data sovereignty are paramount. Your personal memory graph and voice models belong exclusively to you. Database sectors are cryptographically isolated, and you have complete ownership and export control over your memory vault.
